The next morning we drove to Pescara to stay with Luigi for a couple of days, which meant transversing the country through some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. Abruzzo is stunning. This is the view from the top of Luigi’s house, which is all around fantastic. Far in the distance in the second sketch you can see the sea.
